KW 37/24

No one heard (autumn) coming / fallen through the (stale wasted) atmosphere

Melancholic fog arising as a gift / The temperature dropping by half on the spot.

Stumbling upon "Apples" of Elizabeth Fraser for the very first time, a track on the EP "Sun's Signature" Brilliant, bewitching, calming -

Clocking in at seven and a half minutes, the beguiling track floats through the ether with sparse guitar and otherworldly chimes. A song, seemingly composed and presented straight from the heavens. Fraser’s voice is impeccable in this track, an angelic presence from the spirit realm crossed over to the mortal world delivering a tour-de-force performance.

The songs weren’t made as a response to any influence outside the pair building something wholly new for themselves. This EP is highly evolved, yet simultaneously primal - it’s an utterly original, compelling and genre-defying collection of songs that has developed through an Alice in Wonderland journey through life and music.

During the night there will be no clouds and the stars will be clearly visible. The air will cool down to 9°C. Gusts can reach speeds of between 32 and 49 km/h.
